All of the German federal republics have officially declared the 31st of October a special State Holiday. You would be very mistaken, if you ascribed it to Halloween. It is the culmination of a year commemorating the 500th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation.

The Dresden Christmas markets are a well-known and popular fair which is annually visited by thousands of people. Hence we, the German students accompanied by Mrs. Barnes and Mr.Udatný, started out on an excursion to Dresden on Wednesday, December 14.

Pospisil’s Sexta English RFE/RL
On the 30th of November 2017, 15 sexta students and their English teacher, Mrs. Pospíšil, took a field trip to Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty in Prague.The excursion included a brief history of the radio, a tour and an interview with some of the journalists working there.
